I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in California. My approach to therapy is client-centered; that is, I want to work on what you want to work on! You are the expert of your own life, and I am here to offer insight to help you meet your goals. My career has been focused on working with children, adolescents, and adults who have been mandated to therapy. At this time, I would like to work with both youth and adults who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process.
Therapy is a way of showing up for yourself, a path of self discovery where you can reconnect with who you are today and the life you truly want. I’ve supported people navigating addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety, and I believe deeply in meeting you exactly where you are and wherever you feel ready to begin. Together, our sessions become a collaborative journey, with me holding safe, steady space for you as you grow into the person you’ve always had it within you to become.
I provide a strong and attuned presence for you to safely process your deepest hurts, traumas, embarrassments, regrets, frustrations, and everything in between. I can walk with you on that path without judgment and help you get to the other side of your issue.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher. I saw how core thought patterns and past trauma deeply impacted the learning and functioning of my students and this inspired me to become a therapist.
I became a therapist because I genuinely believe people can heal, and I wanted to be part of that. Six years in, that has not changed.
My path in this field has covered a lot of ground. I started with youth and family work, learning early how to meet people in complicated circumstances and stay steady alongside them. Then I spent nearly three years as a primary therapist in substance use and recovery settings, working with adults navigating co-occurring disorders and the kind of life disruption that comes with addiction. That work sharpened how I show up in a session.
I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from National University in San Diego and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I work with adults and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I use an individualized approach for each person because no two people arrive with the same history, the same goals, or the same pace. I draw from CBT, DBT-informed techniques, and trauma-aware approaches depending on what the work calls for.
My goal is straightforward: I want you to leave sessions feeling different. Not just heard, but equipped. I want the work to translate into something real in your life.
Reclaiming control of your life is possible with the right tools, support team, and treatment plan.
Hi, I’m Lina, and I’m an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health concerns across folks of all ages. My experience in psychiatry began years ago in the inpatient setting, where I worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from mild concerns to more complex and severe symptoms. Over time, my training in psychotherapy and medication management has allowed me to support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, PTSD, substance use, and ADHD.
I believe in going beyond the belief that all we can do is manage trauma and symptoms forever. I believe our mind, body, and spirit already has the power to overcome it, we just have to learn how to tap into it and put it to use
You're an Asian man who desires authenticity, healing and transformation. My name is Samuel, and I help heart-centered, truth-seeking Asian men level up and become the best versions of themselves in their career, relationships and lives. Clients who work best with me have tried things like therapy, workshops, meditation, self-development, but haven't been able to crack the code on specific patterns that continue to sabotage one or two areas of their lives. After doing this for 15 years, I can confidently say that the work is simple, but not easy. It requires you to dive in, be vulnerable, and face things you haven't want to look at.
It's difficult to find someone who gets you. I get it, I've been a client looking for a therapist. When talk therapy hasn't worked how you'd hoped, that's when you can consider a therapy like Somatic, EMDR, or ERP. I can help you with any of these issues. I am a highly effective therapist that also has out of network options for intensives. If you are using insurance and have CPTSD, PTSD, or OCD, we can only meet in the 1 hr format. I have extensive EMDR experience.
I have my MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and BA from Concordia University, Irvine. I am a later career change and have extensive experience in the creative and tech industries.
I often work with women in Perimenopause to menopause, but have worked with men as well. The attributes of clients who find me are usually ready to change and have tried everything. I find they find the right therapist, at the right time, with the right type of therapy and it changes their lives. You can see more in my google reviews.
I know pretty quickly if we are a match and I won't waste your time, I know the people I can help, and if you want that kind of care, and hate traditional talk therapy, I am your therapist. Reach out to see if we are a match.
