Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to manage day-to-day stressors? Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, you are not alone. Together, we will create a safe space to help you reclaim your sense of self. We will work together to process your experiences without judgment, focusing on the practical tools and internal confidence you need to move forward on your own terms.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I believe healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you can show up as you are while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, body image concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. My approach is evidence-based and individualized. Rather than relying on a single therapy model, I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and attachment-informed interventions to create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals.
My professional experience extends beyond my years as an independently licensed clinician. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health and specialized eating disorder treatment across the full continuum of care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy. This breadth of experience allows me to support clients with complex needs at every stage of recovery.
I have a particular passion for helping individuals heal their relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to understand themselves more deeply, develop effective coping strategies, and create lasting change.
I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and am passionate about increasing access to culturally responsive mental health care for Hispanic individuals and families.
Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that hope and healing are possible for everyone. My counseling approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change can occur when individuals, couples, and families partner with a compassionate, skilled therapist who provides effective support and practical mental health resources. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and work toward their goals. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you.

I was trained at Ivy League prestigious institutions, completing Psychiatry Residency at Cornell University and Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship at Brown University. Over the years, I've cared for patients across a wide range of settings including complex inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison psychiatry and since COVID as a tele-health Psychiatrist. I've also had the privilege of teaching medical students along the way, which deepened my belief that truly good psychiatric care starts with compassionate care.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University. I obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and completed both a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. I gained predoctoral internship training at University of Central Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at Jackson Health System in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
I believe my job as a therapist is to help tap into your most authentic self, and walk alongside you with whatever struggles there may be. My approach to therapy is direct, with the use of humor, analogies, and metaphors; I try to bring every thing together to help make sense in a world that can be confusing. Together we can tackle whatever difficult situation may be occurring in your life and get to the other side.
