I provide counseling therapy to individuals with an Open Bible, offering therapeutic insight from a Christian perspective. I am a trained, licensed therapist who understands God's role in healing and integrates Biblical principles into therapeutic conversations to guide you toward better mental health. GOD is Good! My goal is to help you see this through Scripture, which provides guidance and navigation through the toughest times in life. Your emotional pain is more than a physical or mental struggle – it’s a spiritual response to suffering. I’ll walk beside you as we examine what is true, worthy, honest, and right.
I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) LCSW in Illinois, I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and life's bigger transitions. My approach is warm,
practical, and grounded in what the research says works. Whether you are carrying something heavy or simply ready for a change, I meet you where you are. I would love to
be part of your journey toward the life you want to build. Let's connect.
I have over 20 years of experience in healthcare. My career began as a pharmacy technician, then as an emergency room nurse, and later supervising behavioral health units at Mercy St. Louis before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This background allows me to understand mental health from both medical and psychiatric perspectives.
Clients often describe me as approachable, practical, and easy to talk to. Therapy should be a collaborative process, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. My style balances support with practical problem-solving, helping clients gain insight while also developing strategies they can use in everyday life. Above all, I want you to feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward your goals together.
I am an LCSW Catholic Therapist with over 5 years of experience. I enjoy combining a faith-centered approach with EMDR, IFS, and somatic work. I've witnessed many patients find healing with this approach and look forward to continuing to help those in need! In IFS the ultimate healing happens when we can operate in Imago Dei, that is, being the image and likeness of Christ. In my practice, we will work towards unpacking what is getting in the way of that freedom.
Many of the adults I work with are navigating anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, or the feeling that they've spent years adapting and still don't feel like themselves. I specialize in ADHD and neurodivergence, and it’s work I care about deeply.
I believe real change happens when insight is paired with action.
With over 30 years of experience, I help adults manage sleep, stress, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. People often describe me as kind, perceptive, with a good sense of humor. My approach combines active listening, mindfulness, CBT, and applied neuroscience. We'll work together to create a plan tailored to your needs to help you focus and move forward with confidence. I'm an LCPC, Board Certified in Neurofeedback, with a certificate in CBT-I for insomnia and other sleep concerns.
As an artist and art therapist, I believe that creativity comes in many forms. It is my goal to help every individual create a peaceful home environment be it through art or therapy. Being a visual artist means being able to make simple shapes and lines and help them evolve into another form. Art therapy uses lines, shapes and colors to help one heal. How an individual choses to manipulate those various tools determines the final outcome.
