I am an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have over six years of experience treating individuals and groups with struggles such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, suicidal ideation, substance use disorders, and relationship issues.
I have been a social worker practicing psychotherapy for 25 years. I have enjoyed working with a variety of people with many different experiences, both in clinic settings and in private practice. For the past 10 years I have been the director of an outpatient substance abuse treatment clinic. I enjoy helping people work through past trauma and find a way forward. I believe that therapy can benefit anyone who is curious about themselves and wants to improve their lives.
I am a fat and queer therapist who understands the importance of showing up as your whole self. At Whole and True, LLC, I primarily support LGBTQ+ folks navigating OCD and anxiety, including those whose lives have gotten smaller because of fear, uncertainty, or avoidance. I also bring extensive experience treating eating disorders, trauma, and complex mental health concerns. My hope is to create a space where you feel understood, challenged, and supported as you build a life less governed by anxiety.
Currently on maternity leave until first week of September! Hello and welcome! I'm glad you're here. As a clinical social worker in Massachusetts (LICSW) and Florida (LCSW), I am especially passionate about helping young adults find their footing while struggling with depression, anxiety, stress and other life challenges, such as difficult relationship or family dynamics. I'm happy to provide an honest, collaborative space for fostering growth and empowerment.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space where individuals from all walks of life, including those from marginalized communities, can feel supported and heard.
My work is motivated by my own deep desire to stand by others as they build resilience, claim their right to joy, and (re)discover their sense of curiosity and possibility.
For 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across systems, communities, and life stages — with adults, families, and individuals navigating complex dynamics, life transitions, and the lasting impact of trauma and inequities. I’ve worked in settings that range from deeply clinical to community-based, and through it all, one truth has remained constant: people are remarkably resilient when given the right space and support.
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone deserves support and a safe place to explore who they are and what they need. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship as a core driver of change — feeling seen, respected, and meaningful is foundational to healing.
I believe you deserve to feel joy, contentment, and excitement about your life. You deserve healthy, fulfilling relationships and a sense of connection to yourself and others.
I work best with adults who are ready to go deeper — who are motivated to take courageous next steps, explore what may be getting in the way, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I specialize in life transitions, self-esteem and self-worth, resilience-building, and helping people rediscover their joy.

My background in school counseling helps me understand the real-life challenges students and families face day to day. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
I'm a therapist, yoga teacher, mindfulness teacher, and somatic bodyworker. I help people restore a mind-body connection to increase resilience, health, and wellbeing. I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2016. I am also a Trauma Release Exercise Provider.
