Hi, I’m Adalis! I’m an LPC who believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself. With over 10 years in the mental health field, I love helping teens, athletes and young adults navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, and life’s challenges. My goal is to help you build confidence, find balance, and thrive—not just get by.
I work with adults navigating trauma, relational wounds, and identity exploration. Our sessions will focus on helping you understand the why behind your emotions, behaviors, and patterns, not from a place of judgment, but from curiosity and care. By honoring all parts of you, we’ll work toward integration, self-trust, and connection that feels genuine and sustainable

It's easy to feel stuck in life with limited support. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in private practice and inpatient settings, I strive to make my clients seen and heard for who they are.
I have a diverse background which helps me to relate well to many different people. I earned a B.A. in Communications with minors in Music and German, an M.S. in Professional Counseling, and a Ph.D. in General Psychology. I served as a USMC officer and attack helicopter pilot and saw combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. I also have a background in teaching, pastoral work, and music. My life experiences have prepared me in a unique way to serve you as an effective counselor and agent of change.
You may be used to carrying everything on your own. From the outside, it can look like you're managing just fine, but internally you're exhausted from anxiety, past experiences that still affect your relationships, family conflict, or a struggle with substance use that's become harder to ignore. Asking for help isn't easy, but you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I specialize in helping clients navigate substance use and addiction, trauma, men's issues, family issues, and relationship issues so they can build healthier relationships, regain confidence, and create lasting change. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors, believing that meaningful progress begins with honest conversations, practical support, and a space where you feel respected, understood, and challenged to grow.
We grow at our own pace, but it is my experience that with counseling support, personal evolution can happen more quickly. As a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and Life Coach, my background is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness, behavioral changes, emotional regulation, and finding solutions.
I have been practicing for over 15 years with compassion/empathy guiding my efforts. I have extensive experience with 9 populations: Eating Disorders, Anxiety/Depression, Combat Vets, Geriatrics, Sex Offenders, Substance Use Disorder, Co-Occurring Disorders, Clinic environment, Women's issues.
