Are you ready to break free from the weight of past trauma and create lasting change? Are you feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, or anger, struggling to find peace and connection? Together, we’ll work to heal emotional wounds, strengthen coping skills, and restore balance using trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches. My goal is to help you rediscover confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose—empowering you to move forward with strength, self-compassion, and hope.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when shaped by trauma, mood changes, substance use, or family conflict. Through CBT, REBT, and EMDR, therapy offers space to heal, reframe negative thoughts, and release past pain. Together, we build resilience, balance, and peace through empathy, understanding, and growth.
I understand how exhausting it can feel to carry the weight of past pain. You may long for peace, balance, and connection but feel unsure where to begin. Healing is possible—you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can create a safe, supportive space to process, rebuild, and move toward the life you truly deserve.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or stretched thin by anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or life changes, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with individuals who want a space to feel understood, supported, and empowered as they move through challenges and toward meaningful growth. My goal is to create an affirming, compassionate environment where you can show up as you are and begin making sense of what you’re carrying.
I help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and overwhelming life stressors. I help people who look fine on the outside yet feel misunderstood and alone with battles no one sees. They wonder if their “normal” really hides trauma and sense that burying feelings can only last so long. In therapy, we give those hidden struggles a voice, make sense of the chaos, and build skills that help them take back control. Some of the most common concerns voiced in therapy are, “I don’t feel listened to,” “I struggle to communicate my thoughts,” and “I’m about to give up.” These thoughts carry emotional pain rooted in past hurts. To cope, many have learned to disconnect from their feelings just to survive.
Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions begin affecting every part of your life. You may be exhausted from trying to hold everything together, questioning your next step, or feeling like you've lost touch with the person you want to be. Change doesn't happen overnight, but it can begin with one conversation. I partner with individuals experiencing depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, identity issues, and trauma so they can rebuild confidence, strengthen their relationships, and create a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling. Working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals, couples, and families can heal, grow, and thrive. Together, we’ll build on your strengths using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs.
Throughout the past two decades, I have dedicated my career to working with young individuals and their families within the educational environment, serving as both an educator and a school counselor. Currently, I hold the position of a licensed professional counselor, where I continue to support and guide individuals on their journeys.
My academic credentials were earned at Stephen F. Austin State University, where I developed a strong foundation in counseling principles and practices. I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals to discover their purpose, experience healing, and embrace their true identity in Christ. My commitment to supporting the personal and spiritual growth of those I work with is at the core of my professional philosophy.
Executive Stress Counselor
My focus is the 'Stress of Being Sick from Stress.' I specialize in clinical anxiety, depression and burnout.
My clients live high-intensity, high-stress lives. Many have high-profile jobs such as executives, professionals, educators, healthcare workers, and others in high-impact, high-stress occupations. Many are further stressed by aggravating, co-occuring life problems such as, relationship or career frustrations, medical conditions, mental health problems, or high-stakes legal or business problems -either experiencing these directly themselves or, just as often, redlining because of their close connection with others carrying these burdens, typically family members or business associates.
I have completed the post-grad certificate program from UMass Medical School in Integrated Behavioral Health, which has prepared me to work with physicians and their patients with stress-sensitive illness.
With a 40-year career—including 20 years as an executive and 20 years in private clinical practice—I understand the unique intersection of high-level leadership, physical health, and peace of mind.
I help clients learn to resolve the consequences of chronic pressure—specifically the insomnia, hypervigilance, and cognitive fatigue that often complicate conditions like CVD and Diabetes and fuel mood problems and reinforce unhealthy lifestyle and dysfunctional relationship patterns.
My background as an executive and a forensic professional allows me to listen at an elite professional level, while my current work supporting high-consequence military professionals ensures my clinical tools remain refined for both immediate 'stay in the fight' stabilization and broader lifestyle strengthening and health recovery. In short, I am a direct, high-achiever savvy counselor with real clinical depth.
