I am passionate about coming alongside you to help reach your goals! I am honored to be a part of each client’s process for healing and change, and value addressing whatever needs and goals are specific to you.
I have been working as a mental health counselor for over ten years, and my favorite part of the job is seeing the resilience and transformation process with each of my clients. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, families, and couples with a variety of concerns including anxiety, addiction, depression, relationship concerns, and trauma.
I am an LMHC that specializes in treating trauma and I'm passionate about working with my clients to find the healing that they have been wanting. I also value being a therapist that is a BIPOC individual, and welcome my clients to bring their cultural concerns and racial trauma to work through in sessions.
I have 12 years’ experience counseling all backgrounds and ages including men, women, mothers, professionals, veterans, and teens who have dealt with anxiety, depression, addiction, family and career issues, etc. My clients often tell me that I have a unique way of explaining ideas and perspectives to them that makes it easy for them to understand and apply.
I believe healing is built through connection, trust, and feeling understood. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel safe throughout the therapeutic process.
With over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, and other emotional concerns. I recognize that each person’s experience is unique, so I tailor therapy to your specific needs, strengths, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. Instead of directing you, I work with you to build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion, honesty, and respect.
Whether working individually, with couples, or with families, my focus is to help you better understand yourself and your relationships, navigate challenges more effectively, and build resilience. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools to support lasting growth and well-being.
Healing from trauma is not about forgetting the past-- it's about reclaiming your future. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in trauma and grief, I am dedicated to helping adults and survivors of childhood trauma navigate their healing journey with strength, compassion, and evidence-based care. With training in cognitive processing therapy (CPT), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), trauma-focused CBT, and child parent psychotherapy (CPP), I offer an integrative approach tailored to each client's unique needs and experiences.

Hello! I'm Grace, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within hospital-based Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Hello, I’m Star. I am a Licensed Mental Health and Addictions Counselor and am currently returning to school to pursue a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, with the goal of holistically integrating mental and physical well-being. I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2016 with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health.
I began my counseling career working and volunteering in drug rehabilitation centers and community mental health centers and later gained experience within the criminal justice system through work in county jails and the Colorado state prison system, where I have been practicing since 2016.
My primary interests include working with trauma, substance use disorders, and general mental health and wellness, with an emphasis on movement and proper nutrition due to their impact on how we think and feel. I prefer a holistic approach, focusing on finding what works best for each individual client. I am trained in diversity and inclusion and utilize a person-centered approach in my professional practice.
My motto is, “You can’t pour from an empty cup,” and my goal is to help clients fill their cups so they can be more present for themselves and their loved ones.
